          　　Processing trade has become a new growth point in foreign trade of Ningbo. According to Ningbo Customs, from January to July this year, the total value of import and export processing trade of Ningbo reaches 11.16 billion US dollars, increased by 40.1% above the same period of last year, covering 27% of the import and export total. Of the total value, import reaches 4.09 billion and export 7.07 billion, increased by 51.5% and 34.2%. The trade surplus is 2.98 billion US dollars, covering 23.3% of the trade surplus of the City.
          


          　　In export processing trade, hi-tech products and LCDs are most typical. From January to July, the import and export total of the two kinds amount to 4.29 billion and 3.21 billion US dollars, increasing by 120% and 390%. The top three in import and export trade are Ningbo Export Processing Zone, Ningbo Development Zone and Cixi Processing Trade Zone.
